I need a penis showing game…

Tuesday, February 21st, 2006

Odd title, I know, but it's a reference to Waiting, which is pretty much a waste of time of a movie. Sorry, but the movie telegraphs the jokes so far in advance that their shock doesn't work, and therefore leave you going, "Yeah, saw that one coming".

Having said that, I do have to say that like Justin Long's character Dean, I feel like I need a change. I'm in desperate need of something to break me out of the duldrums of my life. Don't get me wrong, I have a fairly decent job, but it's not fulfilling and suffers from an utter lack of creativity. I've been talking with Jason lately about starting a business, but I have no clue really what I would do.

Anyways, it's about sleepy time, so I'm off to slumber...

Geekness abounds

Thursday, February 9th, 2006

So, this past week has seen the creation of two new collaborative websites that I'm involved in.

The first, is teamtopanga.com (don't worry about going there, there isn't anything there yet) which will serve as the website for collaborative projects between myself and Jason Fogleman (of jasonfogleman.com and Port City Websmiths). The site is currently in production and should be emerging sometime in the next few weeks as a web design/development "firm" (for lack of a better word) that will feature Jason's great design and development, along with my contributions.

The first product of TeamTopanga.com will be Stewart-Colbert08.com. This site is one part tongue-in-cheek and one part extreme sincerity. Many saw Jon Stewart's appearance on Crossfire a few months back as Jason and I did and many people, as we were, were very impressed with his frank comments about the political landscape and media collusion/placating. So we're launching a site to push for what we see as a great third part ticket duo - Stewart & Colbert for 2008!
