So we have visitors today in the office...higher ups, new "bosses" so to speak. I was displeased to say the least when I learned upon my arrival to the office this morning however, to find that "upper management" here sent their administrative assistant to tell a disabled co-worker that (and I'm paraphrasing), "They realized she was disabled, but they were still closing off access to the women's bathroom on our floor".

Why close the bathroom you ask?  Because they don't want to hear any flushing noises in the conference room adjacent to it.  I am amazed that a corporation as large as the one I work for would tolerate our management denying access to basic utilities to make a good show.  I don't think that it makes a good show at all. In fact, I'm embarrassed, appalled and disappointed.
